Amazing screeching sound made by my friend's dishwasher. Sounds like a horrible metal demon thing screaming or something. One of those sounds that the imagination runs wild with, so i wanted to share.
This was recorded in a woodshop with a loud dust collector going on, so it's not the cleanest recording. But if you need a noisy, nasty sounding mechanical thing then this'll do it.
Dremel cutting plastic. Recorded with h1 zoom while working in my workshop. Micro retífica circular cortando plástico. Gravado com zoom h1 durante trabalho em minha oficina.
Generator behind a local petco in mexico city. Apparently i got some ringmod out of this? it sounds amazing with a highpass filter on it. Great layer for sound design :).
A field recording at night of a faulty leaking air conditioning compressor with crickets in the background. Easy to loop. Recorded with an old zoom h4.
Recording of a train arriving at a station, remaining in the station and then leaving. Note- there is some minor wind noise. This recording took place in november of 2015 at meadowhall train station. Recorded with a zoom h2next portable mic.
The whirring of machines, crowd walla, carnie announcements, and screaming at fairground that was passing through my town. Recorded on tascam dr-05x, limited to remove peaks and normalized in audacity.
Well well well this series of sounds that i am beginning will be dedicated to video games or songs, this sound represents a pressing button for my newest and nearest projectyou are free to rebuild it, combine with others and use.
An long escalator i recorded in atlanta. The escalator was very noisy, and produced a kind of whining electrical sound that sounded almost spiritual. I do not know if the transcendent beauty of the escalator is captured sufficiently here, but i figured someone might be able to use it! there are a few faint voices in the background.
Sound of my blu-ray player's disk drive opening and closing repeatedly. Recorded on a pixel 4a, cleaned up a little in fl studio 20. This sound is cc0, so use it wherever/however you want, but if you do use it in something i'd love to hear about it in the comments!.
